Taurus Awards 2005
The Taurus World Stunt Awards 2005 were the fifth award of the Taurus World Stunt Awards , an American award for film stunts that on 25 September 2005 again as since 2003 on a Backlot of Paramount Pictures took place.
Award
Busta Rhymes opened the show. The Taurus Honorary Award honored Quentin Tarantino and Sylvester Stallone , while Vic Armstrong received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Live stunts were performed on the stage. Dwayne Johnson hosted the show.

As in the previous two years, the awards were presented in nine categories, in which a total of 29 different films were nominated. The films The Punisher and Hart am Limit were nominated the most, each with four nominations. The Bourne Conspiracy and Kill Bill - Volume 2 received the most Taurus Awards with two awards each . As in the two previous years, a German action series was named the best foreign production. With Hart am Limit , a film production was nominated three times in the same category for the first time in the category of best man’s stunt .
