Taurus Awards 2003
The Taurus World Stunt Awards 2003 were the third award of the Taurus World Stunt Awards , an American award for film stunts that on June 1, 2003 on a Backlot of Paramount Pictures took place. The show was broadcast on June 9, 2003 on USA Network .
Award
Harrison Ford and film producer Gale Anne Hurd were honored with the Taurus Honorary Award for their longstanding involvement in the production of action films.
One of the highlights of the evening was the flight pursuit race between an airplane and the Austrian extreme athlete Felix Baumgartner , who achieved speeds of over 240 kilometers per hour with a wing pack consisting of a carbon wing .
Dennis Hopper , Michelle Rodriguez and Jennifer Garner performed live stunts on stage . Dennis Hopper also moderated the show.

The awards were presented in nine categories, in which a total of 22 different films were nominated. The films James Bond 007 - Die Another Day and xXx - Triple X were nominated the most, each with six nominations. With three awards, xXx - Triple X received the most Taurus Awards. For the first time, not only US American but also foreign film productions were nominated and awarded.
