Taurus Awards 2013
The Taurus Awards 2013 were the twelfth presentation of the Taurus Award , an American award for film stunts, which took place on May 11, 2013 again as it had been since 2003 at Paramount Pictures .
Award
The biggest winner was the film production Marvel's The Avengers from the award ceremony, which was nominated in six categories and received awards in four categories. The Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award was given posthumously to stuntman David R. Ellis , who died in January 2013 .

As usual since 2003, the awards were presented in nine categories, in which a total of 22 different films were nominated. The film Marvel's The Avengers was nominated the most with six nominations. With four awards, he also received the most Taurus Awards. For the first time, an award was given for the best stunt rigging . As in the previous year, the German action series Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei was recognized as the best foreign production, which was the sixth time it received the award in the category of best stunt in a foreign film .
