Taurus Awards 2004
The Taurus Awards 2004 were the fourth presentation of the Taurus Award , an American award for film stunts, which took place on May 26, 2004, as in the previous year, on the premises of Paramount Pictures . The show was broadcast on Spike TV .
Award
Keanu Reeves was honored with the Taurus Honorary Award for his performance in Matrix Reloaded and the film producer Jonathan Mostow for the film production Terminator 3 - Rebellion of the Machines . Stuntman Ronnie Rondell , the u. a. starred in the films Speed and Thelma & Louise , received the Taurus Lifetime Achievement Award for life's work.
Live stunts etc. were performed on the stage. a. performed by Michelle Rodriguez . As in the previous year, Dennis Hopper hosted the show, who this year received support from Carmen Electra . Around 1500 guests were present.

For the first time, five film productions were nominated in each of the categories. As in the previous year, the awards were presented in nine categories, in which a total of 24 different films were nominated. The films Bad Boys II , Matrix Reloaded , Terminator 3 - Rebellion of the Machines and Welcome to the Jungle were nominated the most, each with four nominations. With two awards each, Bad Boys II and Welcome to the Jungle received the most Taurus Awards. As in the previous year, a German action series was named the best foreign production.
The following films from the previous year were nominated in 2004 and received the Taurus Award.
