For the first movie from 2000, the producers tried to win actresses from the series for guest appearances; at that time, however, everyone had refused. There were also guest appearances by many celebrities such as: Bruce Willis as William Rose Bailey, Carrie Fisher as Mother Superior, The Pussycat Dolls as The Treasure Chest Dancers, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as possible successors to Dylan, Pink as MotoCross boss, and Chris Pontius ( Jackass ) as an Irish henchman.

The film flopped at the US box office ($ 101 million), but was able to beat the grossing results of the first installment in the rest of the world ($ 159 million).
In this sequel, too, John Forsythe gives Charlie his voice, as in the television series and in the first part.
In a scene at the beginning of the film, Dylan has a drinking contest with a Mongol, which mimics a scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark .
Hugh Hefner's "Playboy Mansion" is the setting of the orphanage, in which the three angels are researching the "rattle frame" (original: Thin Man ).
The promotional material for the fictional film Maximum Extreme 2 featured in the film is an exact replica of the promotional material for Mission: Impossible II .
criticism
“The action film, which is partly choreographed with breathtaking fight scenes, doesn't want to take itself too seriously and sometimes exaggerates its staging orgies to the point of complacency. Technically and representatively perfect, but without a convincing plot and committed to an overly simple logic. "
"Faster, louder, more pointless: The sequel to the gaudy action pos" 3 Angels for Charlie "follows exactly the pattern of the original, which three years ago knew how to combine attractive action posing with a provocative lack of plot. [...] [The angels] renounced any nostalgic frippery [... and shrank] from any brain-crack nonsense. "
