3 Charlie's Angels (Original title: Charlie's Angels ) is an in 2019 published action movie which, like the published in 2000 3 Charlie's Angels on the television series Charlie's Angels is based in the 1970s. It was released in American cinemas on November 19, 2019 and in German cinemas on January 2, 2020.

At the beginning you can see John Bosley retiring. It becomes clear that the Townsend Agency is now operating internationally and that Bosley is not a name but a rank in the Agency . Elena has discovered a source of energy called "Calisto" that, in the wrong hands, can be reprogrammed to kill people. Peter Fleming, her supervisor, steals “Calisto”. Elena turns to the agency . Edgar Bosley and the angels Sabina and Jane meet her. Edgar is killed in a chase. Bosley picks up the three women and tries to get "Calisto" back. However, an unknown opponent manages to be one step ahead of them. It becomes clear that John Bosley is the unknown antagonist. Angry that he didn't ascend after Charlie's death, he now wants to start his own network. The angels can stop him, however.

Most of the shooting took place in Hamburg . In addition to the Elbphilharmonie , filming took place on the Inner Alster , in the Speicherstadt and HafenCity . Another location was Moritzburg Castle near Dresden, where scenes from the big party for the visionaries of the year were filmed in just under 14 days .
