Noah Gregory Centineo (born May 9, 1996 in Miami , Florida ) is an American actor .

Career

Noah Centineo was born as Noah Gregory Centineo in May 1996 to Kellee Janel and Gregory Vincent Centineo. Centineo is of half-Italian, half-Dutch descent. He and his older sister Taylor grew up in Miami , Florida . He left school in 2012 to move to Los Angeles .

In 2011, Centineo made his acting debut on the Disney Channel television series Austin & Ally . He then appeared in guest roles in Marvin Marvin , Shake It Up , Ironside and Jessie . In 2014, he accidentally had a role in the Disney Channel original movie Albert .

He gained fame with the lead role of Jesus Adams Foster in the FreeForm - television series The Fosters . Centineo took over the role from Jake T. Austin and played it from August 2015 to June 2018. Centineo will also play the role of Jesus Adams Foster in the 2019 spin-off Good Trouble in a supporting role.

In 2017 he starred in the music video for Camila Cabello 's hit Havana . In 2018 Centineo was also seen in the Netflix original films To All the Boys I've Loved Before as Peter Kavinsky and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser as Jamey . In 2019 he also played Brooks in The Perfect Date
