2 Fast 2 Furious is an American action film by John Singleton from 2003 . It is the second part of the film series The Fast and the Furious . The film was released in Germany on June 19, 2003.

Brian O'Conner, former undercover cop, was suspended for letting Dominic Toretto slip away after a street race (see: The Fast and the Furious ) and lives in Miami. One evening he is asked to participate in an illegal street race with three other drivers. After O'Conner and Suki arrive at their destination, the police intervene and arrest O'Conner. O'Conner is persuaded at FBI headquarters to convict drug dealer Carter Verone for money laundering for the FBI. O'Conner is said to be working with Agent Dunn, who has no idea about cars. He suggests partnering with his old friend Roman Pearce. In Barstow they find Pearce at a junk car race and persuade him to help with the transfer of Verone in exchange for deleting his criminal record. Together they get two cars from undercover agent Monica Fuentes and Agent Bilkins at the FBI headquarters. They race with it to get Verone's trust for a job.
After the two pass the test, they get the job. In the workshop, the mechanic Jimmy discovers that the two cars are equipped with GPS . O'Conner and Pearce decide to get two new cars from a street race. Then they go to a club to meet Verone. The next day they meet up with Verone's henchmen and get the drug money from an apartment and have to flee from the police. You drive the GPS-monitored cars into an old warehouse and change to the other cars. All road racing drivers are in this warehouse and drive out of the hall at the same time. In this mess, O'Conner and Pearce can pull away unnoticed. The policemen waiting at the airfield discover that Verone is not there. He is on his yacht and discovers that Monica Fuentes betrayed him. O'Conner should be moved out of the way after the money has been handed over, Pearce can prevent that. Together they drive into a car on Verone's yacht to catch him. After Verone is convicted, Pearce withholds several thousand dollars of the money to settle in Miami.
