Tyrese Darnell Gibson (* 30th December 1978 in Los Angeles ), artist name Tyrese , is an American R & B - singer , rapper , actor and model .

life and career

Gibson won his first talent competition at the age of 14, began modeling successfully at the age of 17 and became the exclusive model for the Guess brand . He is also a successful R&B singer, whose debut album Tyrese, released in 1998, went platinum in the USA . The following albums, 2000 Watts (2001) and I Wanna Go There (2003), went gold .

In 2003 Gibson played the second leading role alongside Paul Walker in the action flick 2 Fast 2 Furious . This was followed by appearances in The Flight of the Phoenix , Four Brothers , Transformers 1-3 as well as Death Race and Fast & Furious Five , Fast & Furious 6 and in Fast & Furious 7 and Fast & Furious 8 .

Tire's last studio album to date, Black Rose from 2015, hit the top of the pop and R&B charts. The 2000 Watts charity he founded supports children from poorer neighborhoods in big cities.
