Ginuwine
Ginuwine (* 15. October 1970 in Washington, DC ; actually Elgin Baylor Lumpkin ) is an American Contemporary R & B - singer . Ginuwine, who was under contract with Epic Records , was one of the most successful R&B artists in the USA in the late 1990s.
Career
After graduating from college, Ginuwine was discovered by the Jodeci R&B group in 1996 . In the same year his debut album Ginuwine ... the Bachelor , which was produced by Timbaland , was released. This CD contains the singles Pony and his cover version of the Prince classic When Doves Cry , which advanced to his most successful titles in the German charts. In 1999 he released his second album 100% Ginuwine , which Timbaland also produced. On the 2001 album The Life is with Differences , a No. 4 in the US Billboard charts, his biggest single hit. In 2003 and 2005 the albums The Senior and Back II Da Basics followed . After a long break, he returned in 2009 with the album A Man's Thoughts .
