Los Bandoleros ( Spanish for “The Lawless Highwaymen”) is an American short film by Vin Diesel from 2009. It is the second and so far last short film in the film series The Fast and the Furious . It tells the story behind the feature film Fast & Furious - New Model. Original parts. and acts as the introduction to the first scene of the film. The short film was released on July 28, 2009. It was later released as part of the bonus material on Blu-Ray of the fourth film.

Leo Tego is in prison in the Dominican Republic and is talking to other prisoners about companies holding back electric cars and wars that are only going on over oil.

Rico Santos, meanwhile, is struggling to find gas to get home on time for dinner. Han Lue later comes in from Tokyo and is picked up from the airport by Cara and Malo. They drive to Rico's house, where his aunt Rubia has problems with her gasoline bills. Han goes outside to see Dom work on his car before they both go inside to eat with the whole family. Dominic discusses getting Leo out of jail and stealing oil to support the family. Dominic, Cara and Han later go to a nightclub to meet with the corrupt local politician Elvis, who can ensure that the robbery can take place on a freeway the next morning.

After Dominic succeeds in getting Leo out of jail and completing the plan with Rico, he is surprised by the arrival of his girlfriend Letty. The two go to a beach together and let their love run wild.
