Olena Pawluchina , also Olena Pavlukhina , ( Azerbaijani Yelena Pavluxina ; born September 1, 1989 in Horlivka , Ukraine ) is an Azerbaijani cyclist .

Athletic career

In the Ukraine -born Olena Pawluchina starts for Azerbaijan. In both 2015 and 2016 she became national champion in both road disciplines, road races and individual time trials . In 2016 she also won the Gracia Orlová stage race .

At the beginning of June 2016, Pawluchina was nominated for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . She finished 35th in the road race. In 2017 and 2018 she won three more national titles.

doping

In January 2019, Olena Pawluchina was banned for four years until January 2023 for violating the anti-doping rules based on samples at the 2016 UCI Road World Championships .
