Olga Igorewna Schitowa , b. Palchikova ( Russian Ольга Игоревна Житова , born Пальчикова , English transcription: Olga Igorevna Zhitova ; born July 25, 1983 in Irkutsk ) is a Russian volleyball player . In 2006 she became world champion with the Russian team.

Career

In 2006, Olga Schitowa won the World Championship title with the Russian national team in the final against Brazil and the runner-up title at the World Grand Prix in the final against Brazil again. In the same year she received the award "Honored Master of Sports of Russia".

Private

In 2003 she married Sergei Schitow and has been called Schitowa ever since.
