Volleyball World Grand Prix 2006
The 2006 Volleyball World Grand Prix season was the 14th edition of the competition. It started on August 16 and ended on September 10. Brazil won the title for the sixth time.

In the preliminary round, twelve teams competed. In the first three weeks three tournaments with four teams took place in parallel. The top five teams in the overall ranking qualified for the final round alongside hosts Italy. There the six teams played in two groups "everyone against everyone". The two best teams in each group met each other in the semi-finals. The group third played for fifth place.
