Olga Jurjewna Zarjowa ( Russian Ольга Юрьевна Царёва , English Olga Tsareva transcribed; born January 25, 1990 in the ASSR of the Komi , Soviet Union ) is a Russian cross-country skier .

Career

Zaryova started in Krasnogorsk in December 2008 for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup and finished 67th and 58th in the sprint and 66th place over 15 km freestyle. At the U23 World Championships in 2011 in Otepää , she achieved 34th place over 10 km freestyle and seventh place in the sprint. She ran her first World Cup race in Moscow in February 2012 , which she finished in 52nd place in the sprint. At the beginning of the 2012/13 season she came in Werschina Tjoi with seventh place in the sprint for the first time under the top ten in the Eastern Europe Cup. This was followed by three more top ten results and at the end of the season tenth place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. After finishing second in the Eastern Europe Cup sprint in Werschina Tjoi, she won the silver medal in the sprint at the 2013 Winter Universiade in Lago di Tesero . She also finished fifth in the 15 km mass start race. In the 2015/16 season she achieved three top ten results in the Eastern Europe Cup. She took her first victory in the Eastern Europe Cup in the sprint in Moscow and finished sixth in the overall standings at the end of the season. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season she finished 53rd in the World Cup mini tour in Lillehammer . At the Tour de Ski 2016/17 , which she finished in 31st place, she got her first World Cup points with 29th place in the final stage in Fiemme Valley . In April 2018 she won the Ugraloppet over 50 km freestyle in Khanty-Mansiysk .
