Kusjukowa has been participating in competitions organized by the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2005 . She ran her first World Cup race in December 2007 in Rybinsk , which she finished with 22nd place in the 15 km mass start race and thus also won her first World Cup points. Since 2008 she has mainly competed in the Eastern Europe Cup . They previously took four wins and finished second in the season 2009/10 the sixth and in the season 2014/15 in seventh place in the standings. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme , she finished 21st in the 30 km mass start race. In March 2013 she achieved her best individual World Cup result so far in Lahti with tenth place over 10 km classic. She finished the Tour de Ski 2013/14 in 22nd place. Her best placings at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi were 13th place over 10 km classic and sixth place in the relay. The 2013/14 season she finished with 46th place in the overall World Cup ranking and 29th place in the distance ranking.
