Olimpia Cavalli (born August 30, 1930 in Cadeo , † March 29, 2012 in Rome ) was an Italian actress .

Life

Cavalli played on stage at the Teatro Ambra Jovinelli alongside Erminio Macario and received her first film role in 1958. She appeared mainly in comedies alongside stars such as Totò , Vittorio De Sica and Walter Chiari . As the great hope of the film industry in the early 1960s, the dark-haired Cavalli, who was used with outstanding temperament in glowing and aggressive female roles under Mauro Bolognini , Luchino Visconti and Roberto Rossellini , did not make the breakthrough and left after a few roles that were completely below value, and almost twenty films after their wedding in 1965, the industry to dedicate themselves to the family. In 1999 she returned for an unreleased film.
