Oliver Binder (born May 28, 1985 in Vienna ) is an Austrian national volleyball player .

In 2007, Binder switched from his home club SVS Sokol, where he started playing volleyball at the age of eight, to the hotVolleys , but mostly had to be content with the reserve role until the Viennese began to rely more on Austrians from 2010. Binder is considered a calm, reliable type of player, which is a good prerequisite for his position as a game designer. With the hotVolleys, Binder won the championship title in 2008 and the cup victory in 2009.

After the home European championships in Austria and the Czech Republic in 2011 , when the hosts were eliminated with Binder as the regular player after three defeats in the preliminary round, Binder was without a club before he was again hired by the hotVolleys. In the summer of 2012, Binder and his national team colleague Philip Ichovski moved to the German league for Chemie Volley Mitteldeutschland . A year later he returned to Austria to SK Posojilnica Aich / Dob .
