Oliver Burkhard

Oliver Burkhard (* 1972 in Frankfurt am Main ) is Labor Director and Chief Human Resources Officer at Thyssenkrupp AG.

education

From 1988 to 1991 Burkhard completed training as an administrative clerk at the Federal Statistical Office in Wiesbaden . There he worked until 1997 as a clerk in the Department of National Accounts . From 1993 to 1998 he studied business administration at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz .

Life and professional history

From 1997 to 2001 Burkhard worked as political secretary for the federal executive committee of the trade union of IG Metall in Frankfurt am Main. Then in 2002 he became District Secretary / Tariff Secretary of IG Metall District Management NRW in Düsseldorf . From 2005 he was head of collective bargaining policy on the IG Metall executive board in Frankfurt am Main. In 2007 Burkhard became district manager of IG Metall NRW. In 2011 he called for permanent jobs instead of temporary work.

Burkhard has been Chief Human Resources Officer and Labor Director at Thyssenkrupp AG since 2013, where he is responsible for strategic personnel management , personnel development , corporate services and regional services Germany.

Haufe-Lexware has calculated that Burkard received more than 4.2 million euros in management compensation in 2017.

Oliver Burkhard is married and has two children.
