Oliver Freund (born April 15, 1970 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German soccer player who was a professional soccer player until 2004.

The trained car mechanic played at various German clubs in midfield or as a central defender in defense. His greatest success was winning the DFB Cup in 1992 with Hannover 96 . Since 2006 he has been working as a representative for a residual stock wholesaler.
