Oliver Keymis (born December 30, 1960 in Düsseldorf ) is a German politician, member of the state parliament for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen in North Rhine-Westphalia and third vice president of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

education and profession

He obtained his Abitur in 1980. Keymis then studied philosophy, German, French and political science. He had his intermediate examination in 1984, but then switched to the theater as assistant director. From 1986 to 1991 he worked as a freelance assistant director and picture director for television, from 1989 to 1994 he led annual seminars at the training institute for artistic professions of the French Ministry of Education (GRETA) in Paris . Since 1989 he has worked as a freelance director at various state, city and state theaters.

Keymis has been a member of the North Rhine-Westphalia state parliament since June 2, 2000. Since October 25, 2006 he has also been Vice President of the North Rhine-Westphalia State Parliament. He is the cultural and media policy spokesperson for the Green Group. Since December 2010 he has also been chairman of the Franco-German parliamentary group in the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, which he founded.
