The Oliver Peak is a 2,410 m high mountain of Asgard Range in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 6.5 km north-northwest of Round Mountain .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1976 after Leon Oliver from New Zealand, chief drill from 1973 and head of the drilling project in the Antarctic dry valleys from 1974 ( Dry Valley Drilling Project 1971-1975).
