Oliver Reis

Oliver Reis (born August 26, 1971 in Cologne ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

After graduating from high school in June 1990, he passed the first state examination for teaching at primary level at the University of Cologne with a focus on Catholic theology (1996) and the first state examination for teaching at grammar schools with the subjects of Catholic theology (1997) and philosophy (March 2005). After obtaining his doctorate (Dr. phil.) In systematic theology with Thomas Ruster and Norbert Mette at the TU Dortmund in April 2003 (dissertation award 2003) and the doctorate ( Dr. theol. ) In religious education with Norbert Mette and Matthias Sellmann at the Ruhr University of Bochum in March 2013, he has been a professor at the University of Paderborn since July 2016 . From 2006 to 2007 he represented the chair for practical theology / religious education at the University of Siegen and in 2011 at the TU Dortmund for practical theology / religious education.
