Giaccio took part in the Nor-Am Cup and national championships from January 2015. She made her debut in the World Cup on February 4, 2016 in Deer Valley , where she took 16th place in the Moguls competition and immediately won World Cup points for the first time. In the 2016/17 season she achieved three top 10 placements in nine World Cup appearances. On February 19, 2017, she achieved her first World Cup podium with third place in the dual moguls competition in Tazawako . At the end of the season, she finished eleventh in the Mughal World Cup. At the season highlight, the 2017 World Championships in the Sierra Nevada , she came 17th in the Dual Moguls and 15th in the Moguls competition. In April 2017 she won the bronze medal in the Moguls and the gold medal in the Dual Moguls at the Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco .
