Olivier Mauffroy

Olivier René Mauffroy (born April 2, 1957 in Clichy , Hauts-de-Seine , France , † March 16, 2013 in Paris ) was a French film editor .

Life

In Claude Zidi's Louis de Funès comedy Breast or Keule (1976), Olivier Mauffroy gained his first experience in film editing as an intern . He worked as an assistant editor until the mid-1980s, including on Zidi's Glückwunsch II - Die Lümmel make vacation (1982) and Luc Besson's thriller Subway (1985), in which Isabelle Adjani and Christopher Lambert played the leading roles. Frequently employed by French television, Mauffroy also worked as an editor for an episode of the 1947 multi-part television series Milch und Honig (2009).

Mauffroy died of cancer in 2013 at the age of 55.
