Olivier Muytjens (born April 14, 1981 in São Paulo ) is a Belgian racing driver .

career

Olivier Muytjens, who lives in Eynatten, Belgium, began his motorsport career in karting in 1994 . In 2001 he switched to formula racing . In his debut season he won six races and was champion in the Benelux Formula Ford First Division. In 2002 he switched to the German Formula König, competed for Kern Motorsport and finished the season in 8th place. In 2003 he switched to the German Formula 3 Championship for Franz Wöss' team and became a teammate of Sven Barth. The Belgian scored 8 points and was replaced after four races. In the overall ranking he finished 17th. In 2003 he switched to GT racing . In the 2003 and 2004 seasons, he and Vincent Radermacker won the Belgian Silhouette Championship in a Ford Mondeo. In 2005 Muytjens won the Belgian Touring Championship. He also made his debut in the same year at the Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race in a Porsche 996 Cup.
