Olmo Omerzu

Olmo Omerzu (born November 24, 1984 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian director and screenwriter.

Life

Omerzu completed a degree in film directing at the film and television faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague , where he made his first feature film “Prílis mladá noc” (Eng. A Night Too Young ). The film was shown at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2012 and was screened at the Los Angeles Film Festival. His second film Family Film from 2015 was selected as the best film of the year by the Czech film critics in Prague, it was also selected for the best artistic contribution at the 28th Tokyo International Film Festival and for the best at the 19th Slovenian Film Festival 2016 in Portorož Excellent script.
