Course of the Oloi in the Kolyma catchment area

The Oloi ( Russian Олой ) is a right tributary of the Omolon in the Kolyma catchment area in the Chukchi Autonomous Okrug in northeast Siberia .

The Oloi arises in the Kolyma Mountains at the junction of its two source rivers, the Left Oloi and the Rechter Oloi . It flows in a wide valley along the southern slope of the parallel Oloi Mountains in a north-westerly direction. After 414 km the Oloi meets the Omolon . Together with its source river Linker Oloi , the total length is 471 km. The Oloi drains an area of ​​23,100 km². In October the river freezes. At the end of May it will be free of ice again.
