The Olsen Peak is a mountain from a relief with height differences of up to 200 m in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Darwin Mountains it rises between the Mason Nunatak and the Score Ridge in the Meteorite Hills .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2001 after Edward Olsen of the Field Museum of Natural History , who was involved in the search for meteorites in the Allan Hills as part of the United States Antarctic Program between 1976 and 1977 .
