The gymnastics competition on the men's pommel horse at the Olympic Games in Athens in 1896 was held on April 9 in the Panathinaiko Stadium . It was the fourth gymnastics competition of the Games, in which 14 athletes from 5 nations competed.
The Olympic champion was the Swiss Louis Zutter , ahead of the German Hermann Weingärtner , who won bronze in second place.
