The sailing regatta with the Starboot at the 1936 Summer Olympics took place from August 4 to 10, 1936. The venue was the Olympiahafen Düsternbrook in the Kiel Fjord .

The regatta was an open class, so both men and women were allowed to participate. However, only men competed.
