The women's luge singles event at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held on February 7 (Rounds 1 and 2) and February 8 (Rounds 3 and 4) at the Yanqing National Sliding Center .

Natalie Geisenberger from Germany became the Olympic champion . Silver went to Anna Berreiter from Germany. Tatyana Ivanova won bronze for the Russian delegation.

Julia Taubitz won the first run with a new track record. However, Taubitz crashed in the second run at turn 13 as did the old track record holder Madeleine Egle in the first run and fell back in the general classification. However, both were able to finish their run with the sled, so that the runs were counted. Ekaterina Katnikova also fell in the first run and retired. Natalie Geisenberger won the second run and was leading at half-time by 0.208 seconds over Anna Berreiter .

Geisenberger was also able to win the third run and set a new track record. The last run brought no changes in the medal ranks. With the second best time in the final run, Geisenberger secured her third Olympic gold in a row in singles and her fifth gold medal in total at the Olympic Games. Berreiter ensured a German double success and won silver in front of Iwanowa.
