Originally from Schellerhau in the Ore Mountains, Frisch starts for SSV Altenberg . In winter 2011/12 she was the dominant starter in the junior division: she won the junior world championships on the combined artificial ice rink at Königssee , the junior European championship, the junior overall world cup and also the national German title. In the elimination races of the German national team in October and November 2012, she convinced with solid performances, so that she was nominated by national coach Norbert Loch for the 2012/13 World Cup line-up . She made her debut on November 24, 2012 at the season opener on the track in Innsbruck-Igls , where she was able to go straight to the top with a fifth place. On January 5, 2013, she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with third place at Königssee. In her first participation in the Luge World Championships , she finished fifth on February 3, 2013 on the track in Whistler, Canada .
Frisch initially ended her sports career in 2015 due to a lack of prospects, but has started for the South Korean national luge team since January 2017. For this purpose, Frisch was naturalized in South Korea before the 2018 Winter Olympics , but kept her German citizenship. She finished eighth at the 2018 Olympic Games.
In the 2017/18 season she was 27th in the overall World Cup, in the 2018/19 season she was 25th and in 2019/20 she was 41. Her best result as an athlete from South Korea in the World Cup was achieved in 2018 in Sigulda with 16th place.
