Women's singles in luge at the 2006 Winter Olympics .

The women's single-seater luge competition consisted of four runs. The venue was the Cesana Pariol bobsleigh and toboggan run in Cesana Torinese . The first two runs took place on February 11, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., the third and fourth runs on February 12, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. There were 30 participants from 15 countries, of which 24 were included in the ranking.

There was a three-fold German victory: Olympic champion was Sylke Otto (like four years before) , Silke Kraushaar took second place, and Tatjana Hüfner took third place .
