Men's singles in luge at the 2006 Winter Olympics .

The men's single-seater luge competition consisted of four runs. The venue was the Cesana Pariol bobsleigh and toboggan run in Cesana Torinese . The first two runs took place on February 11, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., the third and fourth runs on February 12, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. At the start were 36 participants from 19 countries, of which 35 were included in the ranking.

Olympic champion was the Italian Armin Zoeggeler , ahead of the Russian Albert Demtschenko and the Latvian Mārtiņš Rubenis . The Rubenis bronze medal was also the first Olympic medal for Latvia.
