Luge

After taking part in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City together with his son Chris Hoeger , Werner Hoeger was also able to qualify for the Turin Winter Olympics. In his second participation in the Olympic Winter Games for Venezuela, he took part as a single starter and at 52 years was one of the oldest participants. With the 32nd place in luge he could achieve his best result at the Olympics.
