Serbia and Montenegro took part in the 2006 Winter Olympics in the Italian Turin with six athletes participate. It was the last participation of the confederation in the Olympic Games; in June 2006, the part of Montenegro gainedofficial independence.

Flag bearer

Alpine skier Jelena Lolović wore the national flag during the opening ceremony, and at the closing ceremony it was carried by the biathlete Aleksandar Milenković .
