Jelena Lolović ( Serbian Јелена Лоловић ; born July 14, 1981 in Sarajevo ) is a former Serbian ski racer . She competed primarily in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom , but occasionally also in super-G and downhill .

biography

Lolović was already active in the Ski World Cup from 2001 , but could not qualify for the second round of a World Cup slalom or giant slalom for years and thus received no World Cup points. Therefore, her first World Cup result comes from a Super-G (February 25, 2005 in San Sicario ). Two days later she won her first World Cup points with 22nd place in the super combined . From the 2006/2007 season onwards , Lolović also regularly reached the decision in her specialist disciplines. 14th place in the slalom in Aspen on November 29, 2009 is her best World Cup result.

In addition to the World Cup, Jelena Lolović is also present at other ski races. So she won numerous FIS races and reached a podium in the European Cup . At the Universiade 2005 in Innsbruck , the student won one gold and two silver medals (plus a bronze medal at the Universiade 2003).

At the Olympic Winter Games in 2002 and 2006 , she took part as a member of the then Yugoslav and Serbian-Montenegrin teams. The best place here was the 30th place in the giant slalom in Sestriere 2006. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she took a 30th place in the Super-G. Jelena Lolović's best result at the Alpine World Ski Championships , in which she participated from 1999 to 2009, is 19th place in the combination of Santa Caterina 2005.

After the 2009/2010 season, Lolović ended her career.
