Virginie Atger (born September 26, 1984 ) is a French endurance rider and trainer.

In 2006 she won the gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in Aachen with Kangoo d'Aurabelle and the French team. She was runner-up in the individual competition.

The World Equestrian Games 2010 in Lexington (Kentucky) she received Azim du Florival the silver medal and the French team. In June 2009 she took first place in the world rankings for endurance riders. In 2015 she led the world rankings in endurance riding. She works in the Haras de Jalima in Ampus in the Var .

Kangoo d'Aurabelle

Her successful horse Kangoo d'Aurabelle (* 1998, by Tauqui el Masan ) won the gold medal with Madschid bin Muhammad Al Maktum at the 2010 Lexington with the team. Kangoo d'Aurabelle and Maktum were able to repeat this success in 2012 in Euston Park . In 2013, Kangoo d'Aurabelle won a 120 km endurance ride in Solt -Révbérpuszta, Hungary, on his last international appearance .

Since the end of 2014, Virginie Atger has been owned by the FEI as the owner of Kangoo d'Aurabelle .
