Britcher had her first international success at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck . There she won the gold medal in the team relay. In the individual she was fifth. She played her first World Cup at the beginning of the 2013/14 season in Innsbruck-Igls and finished eighth. In the further course of the season she was twice in the top ten in the World Cup and at the end of the season she finished 14th in the overall World Cup of singles. At the highlight of the season, the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , she came in 15th. In the following season she achieved four top ten results in the World Cup and thus finished 12th in the overall single-seater World Cup. After finishing fifth in Innsbruck-Igls at the beginning of the 2015/16 season , she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Lake Placid . At the following World Cup in Park City , she won her first World Cup. She won in the single-seater as well as in the sprint race. The following week she won the sprint race in Calgary . In the single-seater she came in third place. Four more top ten results followed during the season, including three eighth places. At the highlight of the season, the Luge World Championships 2016 at Königssee , she was seventh in the single-seater and fourth in the sprint race. She finished the season in fifth place in the overall single-seater World Cup.
