Luge World Championships 2017

The 47th Luge World Championships were held from January 26th to 29th, 2017 on the Igls bobsleigh rink .

The title fights were awarded by the world association FIL in June 2013 at its congress in Istanbul . After 1977 , 1987 , 1997 and 2007 , the title fights were held for the fifth time on the track in Tyrol.
