The 2015 Luge America Pacific Championships were held from December 17 to 19, 2015 as part of the 4th World Cup race of the 2015/16 season on the bobsleigh and racing sled track at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary , Canada . There were competitions in the single-seater for men and women and the two-seater. All competitions were decided in two runs, the results of the World Cup races in the respective disciplines were used for the evaluation.

Erin Hamlin won in the women's singles, Christopher Mazdzer secured the title in the men’s singles and Tristan Walker and Justin Snith won the doubles classification .

Defending champion

At the last America-Pacific Championships in 2014 in Lake Placid, USA, members of the US team won with Erin Hamlin in the women's singles, Tucker West in the men’s singles and the doubles Matthew Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman .

The title in the women's singles was won by the US defending champion Erin Hamlin ahead of her compatriot Summer Britcher and the Canadian Kimberley McRae . In the Race-in-Race World Cup races, Hamlin and Britcher finished on the podium 2 and 3 behind the German Natalie Geisenberger , McRae was fifth in the World Cup race. On the other places followed Alex Gough (6th in the World Cup race) ahead of Emily Sweney (7th in the World Cup race) and Arianne Jones (13th in the World Cup race) and Raychel Michele Germaine . Jones had qualified through the Nations Cup for the World Cup and thus the championship race for the America-Pacific Championship. Germaine was disqualified after the World Cup race.

America Pacific Champion was American Christopher Mazdzer ahead of his compatriot and defending champion Tucker West . The Canadian Mitchel Malyk came third ahead of Aiden Kelly from the United States. In 5th and 6th place followed Taylor Cloy Morris John Fennell , who, like Malyk, had qualified for the Nations Cup race. In the Race-in-Race World Cup, Mazdzer finished 2nd, West finished 7th, Malyk 10th, Kelly followed 15th, Morris finished 19th, Fennell finished 24th.

The doubles title was won by local heroes Tristan Walker and Justin Snith ahead of Matthew Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman and Justin Krewson and Andrew Sherk (both couples from the United States). Jacob Hyrns and Anthony Espinoza came in fourth . Matt Riddle and Adam Shippit crashed in the second run and did not finish. In the Race-in-Race World Cup, the America-Pacific champions finished fifth. Mortensen / Terdiman came in sixth directly behind them, Krewson / Sherk came in 14th Qualified were 16.
