The Omandongo Mission ( English Omandongo Mission ) is a historical mission station in northern Namibia and has been a national monument since September 1st, 2014 . It is located near Onayena in the constituency of the same name in the Oshikoto region .
It was the first Finnish mission in northern Namibia. The missionaries had received permission to proselytize from the king of the Ondonga in 1870 .
