Omar Brown
Omar Brown (born June 21, 1982 in Trelawny Parish ) is a Jamaican sprinter .
In 1999 he won bronze over 100 m , silver over 200 m and gold in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the World Youth Championships in Bydgoszcz . At the World Athletics Championships in Seville , he was used in the run-up to the 4 x 400 meter relay and thus contributed to winning the silver medal for the Jamaican team.
In 2005 he was injured at the World Championships in Helsinki over 200 m. At the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, he won gold over this distance.
On November 3, 2007, he married his sprinter colleague Veronica Campbell .
