Omar Correa , full name Omar Daniel Correa , (* 20th century) is a former Uruguayan soccer player .

Career

Goalkeeper Correa was at least 1975 in the ranks of the Montevideo- based club River Plate Montevideo . In 1976 he played for River Plate from Argentina , but was only used in one game.

National team

Correa was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 national team , which took part in the Junior South American Championship in Peru in 1975 and won the title. During the tournament, Correa was used three times by coach Walter Brienza . He was also part of the Uruguayan squad at the 1975 Pan American Games . Uruguay was eliminated there in the preliminary round . He was also a member of the senior national team of Uruguay , for which he was on June 25, 1975 in the 3-1 win over Chile at the Copa Juan Pinto Durán and on June 8, 1977 in the 0-2 home defeat against the national team of the Federal Republic Germany ran aground.
