ο Piscium ( Omicron Piscium ) is a star in the constellation Pisces . It belongs to the spectral class K0 III, has an apparent brightness of 4.3 mag and is approx. 280 light years away from the sun . As a star close to the ecliptic , Omicron Piscium can be covered by the moon and very rarely by planets .

Omikron Piscium bears the historical proper name Torcularis Septentrionalis (lat. "(From) the northern wine press").
