Ondřej Černý (born March 4, 1999 ) is a Czech cross-country skier .

Career

Černý, who competes for LK Slovan Karlovy Vary , took part in junior races until 2019. At the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2017 in Erzurum , he finished 26th over 7.5 km classic and 11th in sprint. At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Goms he came in 62nd place over 10 km classic, 33rd place in the sprint and tenth place with the relay. In the following year he achieved 26th place in the sprint and ninth place with the relay at the Junior World Championships in Lahti and at the Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk the sixth place in the team sprint and fifth place in the sprint. In February 2019 he ran in Planica for the first time in the Alpencup and came in 45th place over 10 km classic and 17th place in the sprint. There he also made his debut in the World Cup in December 2019 . He got his first World Cup points with the 26th place in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships 2020 in Oberwiesenthal he finished 50th over 15 km classic, 21st place in the sprint and 13th place with the relay.
