The Ongal Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Онгъл wrach Ongal ) is a 1149 m high and glaciated mountain on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . In Levski Ridge in the Tangra Mountains, it rises 0.55 km north of Levski Peak , 1.8 km southeast of Zograf Peak and 2.5 km west-southwest of Plana Peak .
Bulgarian scientists carried out surveys between 2004 and 2005. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the historical region of Ongal in the former Bulgarian Danube Delta .
