The Ongul Sound is ( Norwegian Ongulsundet ) is a 3 km wide strait off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Lützow-Holm-Bucht it separates the Flatvær archipelago from the mainland.
Norwegian cartographers mapped it in 1946 using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen Expedition 1936/37 and named it based on the name of Ongul Island .
