Onno Meijer
Onno Meijer (born July 23, 1960 in Heerenveen , † September 27, 2008 in Wytgaard , Friesland province ) was a Dutch actor .
Life
After completing his studies in youth welfare, Onno Meijer switched to the drama school in Kampen . His stage career began with the theater group Start in Sneek with roles in Van harte gefeliciteerd pa (1985) and as Muze Melpomene in Liefdesspel (1987).
Between 1995 and 1998 Meijer trained as a director in Leeuwarden . He directed De Koning sterft (1995), Antigone (1996), Minskenrag (1997), Who is afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1998) in West Frisian . In 1999 he received an inquiry for the successful Dutch television series Hertenkamp and received the Dutch television award Gouden Kalf for it with the whole crew . In 2003 he was seen in the role of the miller at the Theater in Messer in Hennen by David Harrower . In the same year he starred in life pornography , a film by the Dutch director Edwin Brienen .
